The new fetish

Payton LOVES Tim shoes! She puts them on every night and walks around the house in them. She loves it! She thinks she is such a BIG girl!!

BUSTED!!

So tonight Payton & I were eating popcorn together. She LOVES popcorn!! We were sitting on the couch and she kept leaning over because the dogs were trying to jump up. Payton of course was giving them popcorn! :-) and after a few too many pieces I put them in their room. Well Payton wanted down off of the couch. She continued to eat popcorn and play with her toys. Then she came over and put a piece in her mouth and took two more pieces, one for each hand. She disappeared for a moment and then came back. She again put one piece in her mouth and took two more pieces. This time I followed her and she was sticking pieces of popcorn under the dogs door. SNEAKY! SNEAKY!! It was soooo cute.....The dogs have definitely made a friend! :-)

Lights at Temple Square

Tim's parents and his brother came up the day after Christmas. They stayed with his sister Heather for a couple of days and then came and stayed with us for a couple of days. Although I never really saw his dad or brother since they were in the theater room their entire stay!!! But they had a lot of fun...
We finally made it down to see the lights at Temple Square on December 30th. Heather & Joe and their 3 boys came up here and we had dinner with everyone...yes, I cooked. Okay so we had stuffed baked potatoes and a salad bar. mmmmmmmm my favorite! After we ate we got bundled up and drove down to see the lights! Payton was the stay puff marshmallow girl. And yes, I was a bit jealous that she got to be pushed around in a stroller while she was super bundled!! She loved the lights and did not mind one bit about the cold, probably because she could not feel it. They did have the cutest nativity sets from all over the world that they put all over. I have posted pictures below!

Our Christmas!!

So I have not posted for a while...and I have to admit I was home for the last two weeks of December and did not go back to work until January 3rd! It was lovely!! We spent a lot of time with the family during this time. We got our theater room completed in our basement...maybe that is why I have not posted he, he. My family came over the Saturday before Christmas and we had dinner and watched a movie. Then the next night my mom cooked dinner and then we came over and watched a movie. Then it was Christmas eve....

We had a GREAT Christmas! Many family traditions that have continued on through the years....We do Christmas eve at my parent's, breakfast at Pat & Dale's, and then back to my parent's for presents and dinner, okay leftovers....

Payton was a lot of fun this year. She came walking out of the room and saw all of the new toys on the rug. She looked at me then looked at Tim and then ran quickly to see what Santa had brought. Her first thing she went for is the new vacuum cleaner. Funny thing is she HATES the vacuum!! She played all morning until we left for breakfast with the Herrmann's. We had a good time, it was Raylee's (Jody and Aaron's little girl) first Christmas. After breakfast we went to my parents. Payton decided that she was going to take the bows off of all of the gifts :-) She did get one of her favorite gifts, her rocking chair. My parents have a rocking chair that her and Rian LOVE!!! After gifts we hung out at my parents all evening. Tim of course needed his nap so that he would not be too grumpy!
