thanksgiving

We spent thanksgiving in 2 places and since my belly was so full of a baby boy I couldn't eat that much. We spent the early afternoon at Joe & Heather's, Tim's Sisters house. She has 3 cute boys that Payton loves hanging out with. She was downstairs playing with their toys the entire time. and the food was yummy! I have to get Heather's recipe for her turkey! It was awesome! Thanks Joe & Heather for having us up there & thanks for dinner!

We then headed to my mom & dad's for dinner. Nummy!! As everyone ate I went and fought the CRAZY crowds at Michael's craft. Cricut cartridges were on sale so I fought my way down the aisles and managed to get a couple new cartridges. I then headed home for dessert. As soon as Payton discovered that papa Erv had chocolate cream pie she was his best friend. Here are a few photos of them sharing papa Erv's pie. So cute!

Number one UTAH fan!!

Every year we get together with the Pratt Family and watch the Utah vs BYU game. And every year all are wearing red except for one...my husband!! It is not that he is a BYU fan, he just would rather see them win over Utah...EXCEPT for this year. he actually wanted Utah to win. he wanted to see them go to a BCS bowl, he says it is good for the entire conference. So this year he showed up in his RED!!

with his safety net underneath....just in case the Cougars pulled an upset. ha ha

Adenoid Virus...

Yes, Unfortunately my cute little Payton is sick again. It started on Sunday with a mild fever, so we thought she was getting teeth in. Then on Monday it went up to 104. On Tuesday we took her into the doctors office. I said wasn't I just here about a month ago...and yes a month to the day we were there with strep throat. So they did another strep test and it came back negative. They told me that she has Adenoid virus and that it mimics strep throat. So my poor little Payton has been on and off with fevers of 104. I actually got to see her throat this morning and her tonsils are so swollen and covered with white. It is really icky and I feel so bad for her. But she is a trooper! She does really well with drinking even when she is sick. The food part doesn't really happen, so at that point we just try to get in her whatever she will eat. :-) She did eat quite a bit today so I am keeping my fingers crossed that we are done. I have to get her better before next week. I can't have a sick little girl coming to the hospital to meet her new baby brother. We are double dosing our vitamins for the next few weeks :-)

November 30th!!

Well I am on the countdown! Last week I visited my doctor and she asked if I wanted to be induced...hmmmmmm let me think about this. I have a feeling that this is the only way that this baby is coming out. So I told her the sooner the better! She let me know that she can start me on November 30th...YEA!! Except wait....panic mode now sets in as I have so much to do in such a short time. Isn't it funny that we really want them to get here because we are so tired of being so BIG and pregnant :-) And then the time comes and we start to second guess ourselves. Somebody at my work said, remember they are a lot easier on the inside then once they come out. But we can't wait to meet him!! If I end up having him on the 30th, he and Payton will be exactly 25 months apart...we will see :-)

Hanging Christmas lights

On Saturday I convinced Tim to hang the Christmas lights since it was 50 something degrees outside and beautiful!! It took some convincing since he thought that it would take him a long time since our last house was half the size and took forever...and Tim hates heights!! Well it did not take too long to get the lights up and he had a little helper :-)
But ....after he got them all up, some of them did not work. They were all brand new so we didn't bother to check them. Well future reference we will ALWAYS check the lights before we hang them :-)

Disney on Ice

On Friday we went with Rian, Reily and Lindy to Disney on Ice. The girls LOVED it!! Especially Mickey and Minnie, they were Payton's favorites! We went to Rumbi's at the Gateway for dinner and then we headed to the ESA. When we were there we got a snow cone and cotton candy. Payton did not like the cotton candy at all. I don't think she liked the texture of it. She had a great time and watched the show the entire time. She really liked sitting with "Aunt Windy" :-)

Here are some cute photos of our evening:

4 weeks left with the stomach flu

Well the countdown couldn't go fast enough!! Is it just me or does the last month seem likes it lasts for 3 months?? You are so big and so uncomfortable!! Well last night I also got to add the stomach flu! Yea!! I could not tell you the last time I threw up. ICKY!! I feel for anyone who has terrible morning sickness. My cute little Payton was so worried about me that she came in the bathroom to see if I was okay. When she came in I was right in the middle of throwing up (Sorry to be graphic) and Payton started dry heaving. I had to push her out the door. She is so her daddy!! Tim can't handle it either.

This morning when she woke up I was laying on the couch and Payton brought me crackers and my drink. She is going to be such a good big sister!

Payton's Birthday party

Today has been a busy day...first off I want to tell you that I am DONE Christmas shopping. Yes DONE!! It feels great! Anyways...

Today we had Payton's party. It was a lot of fun. I love getting together with family! But I have to say I didn't plan my timing well. The party was scheduled for 3:00. The problem is Payton takes a nap from 1 until 3. So we layed her down a bit early but she still only woke up at 2:30 PM. We then got her ready in her Cinderella costume and she was the princess of the party!! We had lots of family and great friends here to celebrate with us. It was a lot of fun! We had Little Caesars pizza, thanks Joe for going and grabbing this. Then we opened presents, although Payton wanted to ride her bike. She was mad a Tim when he took her off. But once she got into opening she was just fine. She got a lot of fun presents, Thank you everyone for the nice gifts.

Tim and I bought her a wagon...but I have to tell you the funny story. Tim and I were at Target and I asked him "which wagon do you like?" He told me that buying the wagon was a waste of money and that she wouldn't like it. I told him that we loved our wagon when we were little. He still didn't care and so I bought the one that I liked. But Tim was a good sport and came home and put it together...he put 2 together but the piece broke on the first one as he was putting it together. So he took it back and got a new one. When Payton woke up from her nap she went directly for the wagon but pulled open the card that we gave her and walked around with the card, saying "look Cinderella book". kids are so funny! They love the simplest things!

Here are some fun photos from our day! Thanks everyone for coming to the party and for the presents!

And then here is what happened after everyone left...yes my daughter would rather eat jello than cake and ice cream...
